Resume Information

Standard

I just got home from class. I looked up whether or not you need to include your home address on your resume. When I learned how to make a resume many years ago, it was a requirement. But today we had an assistant in class who told one of my students it wasn’t necessary and he should remove it. I didn’t correct her because I’m quite a bit older than she is, so I wondered if she were correct. I’m going to discuss it with my husband tonight because he hires people and he sees a lot of resumes. But, I have to say, I’ve found out that some people agree with the assistant. Here’s a couple of links with some good tips on what you should leave off the resume. Have a look.
